Per Ron Higgins
Hopefully we see more of this next year

The main difference I saw in this was that when Harris started to suck really badly, Cameron was able to calm him down and get him re-focused better.
Normally, once he starts playing badly, it just got worse and worse. Last night he had a bad quarter and Cameron got him set straight. Made some great throws in the 2nd half.

Also, getting plays into the field was much smoother. I don't remember seeing any delay of games last night. Cam can tell the play signaler what to send in directly instead of having Miles in the loop.

Was awesome to see. I think if you trust krags enough to be cams eyes in the sky, cam should stay on the field

And he still looked like shite at times. I sure hope that he improves in the offseason.

If you remember correctly after the interception which came on arguably the culmination of Harris bad play, the NEXT drive was called as almost ALL PASSES. You could tell Cam had gone up to him and been like get your head right cause we need you. I feel like that nuanced playcalling doesnt happen from the booth.

Maybe Cam just doesn't like walking the sidelines. If I had a choice to sit or stand, I would choose sit. I do think it made it a huge difference though, and hopefully he stays there next season.

Whatever it takes to calm him down or build his confidence I am all for it. I am glad they didn't give up on him after he missed on those three poorly thrown balls. If he completes the passes to CHI and Trey people would be more content with his performance. The interception is on him, but Jeter (I think it was him) needs to attack the ball more aggressively. Like the annoucers said that was a 50 50 ball. He needs to use that big body.

You don't develop a passing game in 3 weeks. It takes a lot of practice and execution in game situations. P.S. Throwing the ball 45 yards downfield to the sideline is not a passing game.

Exactly my point, how long has he been starting? What classification was the QB we were playing? It is time for him to either get it or sit for another one.
As mentioned on the broadcast, this coaching staff has not developed a QB in years and it is getting old.

Also saw Cam yelling onto the field at his players. He's just now realizing how direct communicaton may be important to them?

How distressing is this that a player and not the head coach ramrods a big change which results in a tangible improvement by the offense?

With a $1.5 million salary this year, he needs to get off his *ss and earn it instead of phoning it in!
No pun or double entendre intended.....

The big won was like a previous poster stated. The plays being sent in.... People on the same page. Snap counts were not screwd up either.

Always look for something negative to bash the program.

Cameron stated he has thought of the idea of coming down to the sideline, but his health at the time didnt really allow him to...... Calm down

Yeah isn't Cameron undergoing cancer treatment? I feel like he'd be tired and needing to sit just based on his health issues.
It's also why I'd be a little surprised if Cameron returned next year (unless we just keep signing up to one year extensions until he or Miles retires)

He was. He still may be getting some treatment, but I believe he is cancer free.
