The truth concerning a player's health is rarely crystal clear.
Did the Harris quote and photo evidence clear it up for you?

Yep...or at least gives me hope that's a large part of why he got very few snaps afterward.

I don't know if you have ever had a high ankle spain, but if you did you would not ask a stupid-arse question like this. Even a mild one makes it crazy painful to walk much less run and to play in a game. I take it you don't believe BH who said himself it kept him from playing.

nah, there are those that probably think Miles had those photoshopped so that he could justify playing his pet player

After viewing enlarged photograph I'm surprised that with the extreme lateral rotational movement of his tibia in respect to his femur he didn't tear his posterior cruciate ligament or fracture his lateral malleolus bone.

I will try to explain this one more time, please read very slowly, then re-read at least 5 times following that. It's very basic stuff, common to most anyone who has actually participated in athletics.
Many times when a player has an injury, even though he could play in spots if needed, the staff reduces his role in practice and game prep to allow the injury to heal quicker. Yes, this player may get some limited action and look ok, but that doesn't mean he's ready to practice full time or play significant snaps. On the rare occasion that the staff has no choice, an injured player will play an entire game at the price of quicker recovery, and at the risk of doing more signification damage.
But what do I know, Miles is probably just lying to protect his ego...

You don't understand, bro. Miles ALWAYS plays HIS guy.
Posted on 7/29/15 at 12:50 pm to marcnbc
yea he didn't play a lot, obviously. what i mean't was he looked all right. he was mobile and the ankle didn't seem to bother him. i thought pulling him from auburn was a good call becaus ehe clearly got hurt. i'm still confused as to why he started that game (as much as i was okay with the move) jennings wasn't hurt. if he gives you the 'best chance to win' why do you pull him and start a frosh on the road at jordan-hare?
anyway, bring on the downvotes.

No, dumbass. I asked the damn question because I had neither seen the pics nor heard his statement. I wanted to know if there was support for this explanation of a lack of PT because I'd like for it to be true. Damn the Rant is full of a bunch of miserable fricks, as usual.

Thanks for watching.
Yes, we've all seen that picture. But that's not what the OP was asking.
He was asking if the injury was enough to keep him from playing through the rest of the year???
Yes, we all understand high ankle sprains take a long time to heal, but was it bad enough to keep him off the field basically the entire rest of the year?

That's why I added his quote along with the picture...
