There's a difference between stretching the truth and telling bold face lies with video proof to the contrary.

According to Miles, Harris was supposed to play every week and it just never seems to happen....amazing.

Sounds to me like an admission that what I said might be possible. Stop spinning so hard. You're getting dizzy.

I'm saying that I know he is not totally honest because he's a football coach. He isn't totally honest like every other coach.

I'm not sure why you think he should be different though.

That interview didn't sit well with Miles b/c Harris is saying he is prepared to play, is being told he'll play, and yet has to sit and watch an inferior QB ahead of him. Like I said, even if approved to do the interview, he should have declined.

This is why I think he's not playing at all. Miles is harshly teaching him a lesson.

I'll say it like this, Harris was in the wrong to put stuff out there like that. Also he should have known, don't care what anybody thinks, he should have known that going behind Miles back to do the interview even getting permission from LSU, was a HUGE no no. Not only that, Harris was either intentionally saying things like that, or just had a poor choice of words. If you read it between the lines, it is basically calling the coaches out without necessarily saying those exact words. I'll say it again, I don't know if that was intentional or not (he's a very smart kid), but even doing it against the coach's wishes, was a dumb move on his part.

Hopefully he'll learn from this. You aren't in the pros so you can't go against the HC and expect to play. He needs to suck it up and wait it out. If he has proven that he deserves to start over Jennings next year and doesn't, I would not blame him one bit for transferring. However, what it boils down to, is Miles sacrificing every chance to win (playing Harris) to prove a point. Prove that he runs the establishment. Prove that he makes the final call, and to not go behind his back.

With all that said, I really want Harris to start from here on out.

Bonnette would have asked Miles. They are putting out that Harris didn't to give Miles an out for sucking so hard. Gives them an out to not have to come up with a buyout for his ridiculous contract.

So basically infer what an 18 year really means in your own opinion.

'm definitely not agreeing to anyone stating that Miles directed the guy to kick like that and then covered it up.

So you believe the kicker just all of a sudden duck hooked one that never got 10 ft off the ground? You really think he was kicking that ball normally?

I have no clue who told the kicker what to do, but "kick it deep" was not his instructions, period.

You really are clueless to sports if you think that!

LSU has a QB problem and has had one for years since Ryan Periloux (sp?) got kicked off the team. For a couple of years we blamed him for leaving us with inexperienced QBs. Then there was Jarret Lee/Jordan Jefferson fiasco. Now it's Jennings/Harris.

Why does Coach Miles say that Harris will play and then he doesn't. Why does he stay with Jennings when it's obvious he's not doing the job? Actually anyone following Tiger football has lots more unanswered questions, not just about the QBs but several other players. The "who plays?" decisions are always baffling.

Is it that JJ/JL/BH/AJ are all second-rate players? Is it player development? Is it play calling? What is it? Cam Cameron was supposed to be THE man to save LSU's offense problems. What has he accomplished?

A final note. I've watched Coach Miles' post-game interviews for years. Never have I seen what I saw after the Arkansas game, from him or any coach for that matter. Les Miles was a sad, spiritless, broken man, it was painful to watch. He looked like a man suffering from severe disappointment and "I give up."

Not sure how any father in the state could encourage their QB/TE son to play for Miles. Unless they really don't like their kid

It would seem that those close to Harris have warned him of Miles propensity to be stubborn to a fault with the QBs, and I think he's getting nervous. If he doesn't start next year and get a good shot at proving himself, he's gone.

There was nothing wrong with his comments, but this could be a reason Les is not playing him. Maybe the kid should have declined the interview. Maybe Les is trying to humble the young man, idk.

I appreciate your comments, however, truth be told, they don't come more humble than young Harris. Am familiar with people who know his family and they all say, this kid will stick with LSU no matter what, because he truly believes it's God's plan for him to be there. He is stoically biding his time, knowing that it will work out for him in the end.

We are going crazy over Harris and Jennings. What would the fans do if Feliepe(sp) Franks and Shea Patterson were on the same LSU team? I don't think the Rant could handle that.

Teaching him a lesson? I don't get this logic at all. If that was the case then he would have been publicly benched and not available to come in when Jennings got banged up. There would have been a "violation of team rules" disciplinary action. You don't punish someone and not tell them what they are being punished for or for how long if you are teaching them a lesson. If Jennings would have been injured, I guarantee you Harris would have came in and finished the game. I think the more rational logic would be that Les isn't comfortable with Harris being under center and getting the guys lined up correctly.

I know some of his family friends and teammates from Parkway and agree completely. I think that article has nothing to do with Harris not getting playing time.

Kid definently believes in himself. But when he plays bad, he says so. Even after outplaying Jenning in the Spring Game he came out and said it wasn't a good game. Harris wasn't going to win a championship for us this year. He needs to grow as a player before this happens. Problem is, he's not going to get better if they try to turn him into a game manager. He's going to get worse in that situation. A game manager is needed when you don't have talent. This isn't the issue here.
