all the talk about Narcisse, Brennan, Scott, Etling...

is brandon harris a lock to transfer? Or are people sleeping on him?

There were a number of tweets(now deleted) where he was "laughing" shortly after coaching changes, and one where he said he was looking forward to january.

just curious, does he stay with canada or is he checked out and ready to move on?

Thanks, fully was expecting a random "thank you tiger nation" tweet.

He is probably gone and I don't think anyone will blame him

O seemed pretty adamant that Etling was the guy all season. If we had hired someone other than O, maybe he would have stuck around, but with O, I think Harris is done at LSU.

I dont like to bash kids and I understand his decision to transfer is in his best interest, but his attitude has rubbed me wrong since he lost his job.

he only has one year of eligibility left right? Unless he graduates early then he would have to sit his final year if he transfers or go Div 2

how so?

He seemed upset when it first happened (who wouldn't be?), but he seemed pretty involved on the sidelines and smiling and whatnot the latter part of the season

yeah that's the kicker. i think O would have given him a shot if he hadn't been so sour.

Here's the thing his immaturity showed when he lost the job and he wasn't winning it back by pouting or retweeting stupid shite on social media. Brandon has a lot of growing to do and lot of it has to do with accepting blame for his own faults.

If Brandon would have just learned to step into the pocket and keep his eyes down field it might have saved his starting position. It's amazing that executing basic QB fundamentals can improve your decision making abilities and accuracy...two areas where Brandon did not perform well at all.

His biggest problem seemed to be that he did not understand that every pass did not have to be the "home run" ball (to mix sports analogies). Sometimes a 5 yd pass or even and incomplete pass OB is the best option. Don't force what isn't there.

not to mention when he DID attempt that 5yd pass, it was a fastball.

If he couldn't handle the simple O that cam/miles put before him, I'm not sure running the O that Canada will implement will work for him either.

Yes Yes, we all know what an athletic young man he is but, just not sure he has it between the ears football wise(so to say).

Good luck to him what ever he decides.

Prob but that is no excuse to lash out at your program. His coach and the players in the locker room were not making death tweets at him. He isn't the first person in the history of sports that dumbasses in a fan base lashed out at a player. He knew before he came here the fans were passionate/boarderline crazy. Mentally mature people recognize these idiots don't matter.

Why would we want a guy with no pocket presence who can't make short passes and over throws the deep ball? His footwork is terrible. He takes 7 step drops when he should only take 3-5. You don't need a 7 step drop out of shotgun. He did this time and time again vs Wisconsin this year. I just don't understand the want for Harris.

"home run"

This wasn't 100% his fault. He was put into a system where the OC and HC didn't fully trust him and he took every opportunity to try and prove himself as a QB and earn trust by trying to throw "home run" TDs.

I wish he could have been ushered in rather than thrown into the fire
