putting your eggs in a basket on Monroe and Chris Singleton didn't help as well. 
Still should have recruited better than we have been in the 2009 class.

Brady has been gone past the point of affecting anymore recruiting classes.
We're on the cusp. Next year I look for them to challenge consistently

This game did show LSU needs that go to guy that can stop long shooting droughts. That i why i'm looking forward to Malik Morgan next year

Ya'll may laugh, but this is 100% the truth. If you add Terrance Henry to this team, who's from Rayville and never heard from Brady, and we're not a bubble team. We're an NCAA tournament team.
Losing Terrance Henry, who was a top 70 recruit, to Ole Miss of all places is a microcosm of the problem we had under Brady. We lost in-state talent, which was ultimately the reason for our lack of sustained success.
By my count, Trent is 0-1 on the Greg Monroe/Von Wafer/DJ Augustin/Chris Duhon type recruits.
He's landed Malik Morgan, though, and he signed Matt Derenbecker, who decided to transfer. Both of those players were top 75 players if I'm not mistaken.
We need to land Jarrell Martin. PERIOD. I hate losing Gathers, but if we land Martin, who's a better prospect than Gathers, then I'll accept that recruiting effort. He'll fill a huge need, and he's a top 10 NBA draft type talent.
We're missing THAT player. We have a lot of complimentary players. We just don't have a guy right now we can throw the ball to and say, "I need 20 points.

you obviously have not seen markel brown at osu or what gallaway is doing, 2 guys who we didn't sniff and can play. losing gathers to me was not that big of a deal except from a pr standpoint, after watching him play last night he should play football. He is very good because he is bigger and stronger than everyone else on the floor, in college it won't be like that.

Yeah. Because losing Henry from Rayville means LSU can replace him with Kidd Gilchrist.
We have to win instate recruiting battles. It's the only way our program can be elevated.
Also, outside of dunking, markel brown is an average college guard. We should have taken Galloway over Courtney, but if we had done that, we probably don't get JOBIII
