And a handful of other posters who have been maligned on here for saying the O hire was a bad one.

One game, horrible as it was, does not prove the point. But a lot of the posters who bashed rickdaddy and company are now screaming to fire O. At least that cohort should apologize.

I'm afraid the O hire will set LSU football back at least five years. Hopefully he won't resort to buying players and get us suspended.

I was never really for or against Miles, but I've been against O from the beginning. I watched plenty of his games at Ole Miss and I read Meat Market. I knew that he was out of his element, just like a bunch of people here. I thought UF did us a massive favor,

The guy has never even been a coordinator at any level.

And please spare me Dabo. That's a rarity.

And O already had a history of bad HC

I think a lot of posters were against this hire and voiced their displeasure (myself included).
Once he was hired though like many of us I put my love for LSU ahead of what I wanted and hoped O would succeed. We still deep down, hope for this, I'm sure but what we have seen is not promising.
I didn't expect us to be better this year than an 8 win team. The way we looked though on Saturday we will be hard pressed to get to that many wins. I didn't expect our team to quit though at the beginning of the year.

It was easy to see tbh. There are supporting facts all over the place.

Speaking of...has anyone seen tiger Ree? Kinda worried about him.

Completely designed his offenses at bowling green and utah. He actually called plays.

Black Friday 2016 was the worst. I knew we were screwed when we lost Herman. I knew Alleva would grasp at straws and hire Zero. We could have gone on and got a decent coach.

The buyout is the killer. I assumed as suspect as Zero was that we gave him no buyout or a low one at best. I am heartbroken.

I have seen this before with Archer and Hallman. It will be bad for awhile. LSU will survive and return to glory but it will be awhile folks.

Lets hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Was sitting in the deer stand reading the rant. Threw my phone out the window that morning.

Everyone who sounded alarm bells in the offseason and especially the last week was treated like a chicken little. It feels awful to be right.

Was never a fan of the hire, but liked what I saw from O until last Saturday.

Now I'm legit worried. There was nothing in that State game that made me feel good about the rest of the season or the direction we are heading.

I'm right there with you. I thought he had things trending in the right direction, I was willing to give him a second chance but my patience is close to running out. The performance in that last game was just inexcusable.

If we don't look noticeably better against Florida, whose offense is worse than ours but they have a good defense, I don't know. I hate to see anyone get fired but I am not about to continue to spend a lot of money seeing my, and my dad's, beloved LSU Tigers look like hammered crap when I know they are better. Fix it or get someone who will. I've seen this movie before and I didn't like it the first time. Alleva better be paying attention. Not to me personally but all the fans. That's why everyone is so ticked off. We know the talent is there.

Two weeks to iron out the problems but I don't like saying that because we had two weeks to iron out issues until we got to our last game too.

I'm so tired of this "we're going to get better. We're going to open the offense, we're going to blah blah blah......"

It's always next year.... NEXT YEAR, we're gonna be it!

I'm tired of this excuse. Fans pay a lot of money to go to these games and the season goes by so fast. Fans pay a lot of money to see the team compete like they've seen in years past and know the talent that is on the roster and stay relevant and so far, we don't look like LSU.

Can't disagree with anything you said.

The barometer will be butts in the stadium. If that falls off, Alleva's goose is cooked IMO. Now you would go from merely pissed off fans to actually losing money and no one will stand for that.

I do hope, however, that O is able to straighten this out because it's rather an embarrassing product being put on the field and certainly not worthy of high dollar ticket prices.
