Where are all you coach O haters? You've had all day and you still can't come up with a legit response.

O said this verbatim in his presser today.
quote:
I think we can shore up the things that were broken. It wasn’t as much a physical thing as it was a alignment and assignment.
To summarize... We have the players to compete.. I just didn't show them where they need to stand and how they need to react.

Bc State was better than Louisville. Bc bowl games are weird and you never know someone's motivation. Bc even though O was officially named head coach the team still wasn't one he had to coach/prepare through an entire off-season, which is what he's historically sucked at. Examples: Look at all the suspensions/transfers/weird off-season whatever happened with Key.
The discipline and work ethic on that team came from a bunch of seniors and three year juniors who weren't molded by O. We also never got behind or had to battle through adversity in that game. We just dominated both lines. There are going to be games, like last night, where that isn't the case.
That's why we fired Les, because he couldn't win games if he didn't dominate the line. It seems like we have not improved one iota in that respect with O. He also looked emotionless, lost, and shell-shocked on the sideline. When coupled with the way the team quit and committed dumb penalties it sure seems like they reflected his mental strength, or lack thereof

What was the difference, was it just rest / deeper in many obvious spots? How did we completely shut down the Heisman trophy winner and do enough on offense (without Canada) to blow Louisville out yet completely wet the bed against Moo?
Because we are weak at the D-line at the start of the game and losing 2 during the game was a killer.
Took me to Sunday to figure out why LSU was playing MSST WRs 10-12 yards off the line. The front seven needed the DBs help in trying to stop the runs and cutbacks. Playing tight man would have taken the DBs out of the play initially.
Our DBs need to spy what the play was..run or pass. Then again, many times, our DBs got juked out of their shoes and missed tackles.

That killed us. It probably took this game for Aranda to realize how big the tackling drop off is from White, Thomas, and Adams to these guys.

So what you're saying is it's ok to get absolutely arse raped by MSU because we lost some players? The poor discipline? Bad play calling? All means bad preperation. Which means bad coaching.
