"Coward" has become a word that's often used inappropriately. Used by the self-righteous for extra emphasis. "Ignorant" is another such overused word.

Getting hit with a punch is not nearly as bad as getting blindsided by a #300 man running 20 feet per second.
That hit could have seriously injured or caused permanent damage. It was a felony. Boutte should be suspended for the rest of the season.
