This is prediction is what I don't understand. These type teams are the very teams we excel against. We beat aTm with Johnny football and made them look bad in the process. Our defense was very young last year. We may lose a couple games but Awburn won't be one of them.

I think we'll lose to florida. it's a safe bet. miles sucks at the swamp. the team is never ready when we travel there to play.

Yeah and they weren't even a Florida defense at full strength.
Not saying we can't win, but points will probably be at a premium at the swamp.

I've read several sports mags. that predict LSU to finish fourth or fifth in the West. The articles also stated that LSU fans will put up with a middle of the pack team for two years and the pressure will force the AD to either fire Miles or give him one more year to seek redemption. I tend to believe that LSU will lose to Auburn, Florida, Bama, Ole Miss and maybe State. there maybe a team or two that we lose when we were supposed to win. Ole Miss has recruited some of the best in the country plus they have an excellent coaching staff. I have a terrible feeling that the upcoming season is going to be a disaster. The mid level teams in the West are hiring great coaches and recruiting top players in the country. I just pray to God that we will never have the Archer, DiNardo and Hallman years. Only time will tell but I feel that in the big SEC games, whether home or away, we get our behinds beat.

Ole Miss had one good recruiting class and everyone thinks that's all it takes. It takes 3/4 great classes to become elite, the Mississippi schools will always be mid to bottom of the SEC in football.
