Regarding how teams as a whole get better when the both sides of the football are challenging each and in turn and making each other better.

I believe due to the fact that our defense practices against arguably better position players at QB,RB,WR and especially OLine our defense might just surprise the heck out of us against Bama and be something special to watch that night..

Posi Tiger out..

Do our offense and defense even have contact practices during the year?

I'm just not overly impressed with their offense to begin with. Need to stack up against the power run and not have coverage busts.

I'll be more thrilled if the surprise big game comes from our o-line handling their defensive front.

As weird as this would have sounded a year ago, we need to blitz on C Robs side as often as possible. He is actually a weak spot on the OL with the way he was wiffing on pass protection against Tenn.

It's something you see in the camp settings all the time. WRs calling out the best DBs and vice-versa.

Heard from a player that graduated in 13' that this was the #1 reason players were declaring for the draft early. He said the practices were brutal and players that knew they were going pro feared injury. So, yes they do.
