The gain would be the benefit to all AQ conference members. If LSU beat Boise 49-6 in a BCS championship game, it would be long time before voters would put another non-AQ team in the championship.

Boise State's defense is better than Oregon's and Moo State's. You ain't scoring that much.

does no one remember when they played an average arse v-tech team at the beginning of last year? the hokies played like shite, repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot, and still had a chance to win it at the end. when they got on track and didnt beat themselves, v-tech came storming back and bosie just barely kept it together.

and thats v-tech. a team notorious for losing to its better OOC opponents, winning the ACC, only to get beatdown in the orange bowl.

but dont worry, they beat the 8th best SEC team so theyre legit

Why? It's a lose/lose. You do realize fans of other schools are giving Boise legitimacy with all of this attention?

Who cares what one of their dumbass fans said? Most of their fans wouldn't pick BSU against LSU. However, make no mistake: the game would be very competitive. Their dline has played together for 2 years now and Billy Winn and McClellin are about as good as it gets.

I been around.

As for Stanford, I am going to say it's a pick'em. I don't think they have the speed on the hoof to keep up but we'll see.

You just really don't know unless we actually played the game. Sometimes points come in bunches. Not saying that we would score that many, but we just put up 40 on your team so you have no room to talk about what LSU ain't gonna do.

I don't know how good their D line is that has played together for 2 years, but LSU's D Line is better than anything that Boise State has ever faced in college football.

the LSU D line maybe bigger but the BSU game pace would tire them and the the Bronco offense would demolish LSU in the late 3rd and 4th quarters.

This part really made me laugh.. this is the EXACT opposite of what would really happen.

Nevada's offense last year was downright sick, dude.

I hear oregon's offense is pretty sick too.

That worked out pretty well right?

ETA: some team needs to implement the pistol in the SEC. It is a downhill physical running attack that isn't prone to tackles for loss like the zone read.

been there, done that

anybody read this gem yet?

quote:

You want to argue about who deserves to play for the championship? -Then you can talk all day long about their weak schedule, BUT... if you want to talk about which team is BETTER and which team would WIN if the played each other in ONE game, then my money would be on Boise State everytime. In fact, out of the mighty SEC, I would say that Alabama and LSU are the only two teams that would even have a chance at beating BSU in one game. They would have beaten Miss St by 3 or 4 tds last night. Auburn and SoCar are giving up almost 40 points a game. BSU would score 50. Florida and Arkansas MAY play them tough. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Vandy may as well WAC teams if they played BSU. For the record, it's very likely that BSU will end up playing the Bama/LSU loser in the Sugar bowl. I hope that happens because I'm going to ****!

Oregon's pace certainly tired us out...

BSU doesn't scare me one bit... I'd love to put their program to rest in the dome.

Billy Winn was rivals 2nd best DT in the country. Shea McClellin is one of the DEs in the country. It is a very very good defensive line. Unless your offense improves by leaps and bounds, that game would be close.

The played SJSU and Duke, so the sample size is hard to say. From what I can tell, losing the 3 olinemen has caused their run game to regress. However, the same could be said of us. However, their secondary looks a lot worse than ours.
