Are you on CRACK? I said that an NFL QB that started for that many years does not suck. To state that any QB even Brooks sucked at playing QB is so fricking dillusional. Thats the best of the best of the fricking best playing in the NFL. I guess you also think some MLB players suck too huh? It must blow your mind when those great college qbs or college baseball players never start a game at the professional ranks huh?

quote:

Wtf?

You wanted to compare "good" in college vs "good" in the NFL. Saban is a good college coach didnt make it in the NFL. Hebert played at the highest level of the sport for 10 years. Miles was a TE coach for 2 years.. Ironically a position at LSU that we never utilize.

JL would have never been able to handle the presssure Nick Saban would have brought him.

Some people believe the stupidest shite, to advance their guy. Lee and JJ have been here 4 years, playing behind the same OLines. So as far as handling the pressure...

Sacks
JJ - 78
JL - 21

I think he had one of the worst coaching performances I have ever witnessed.. I never said he was a bad coach though. Only thing I really said in this thread was that anyone that says BH couldnt play QB is a moron. Doesnt have anything to do with what he said.

Do you even remotely read what I've said? Basing a player or coach's entire career from 1 game is stupid, which is what Hebert is doing. If the same thing applied to Hebert, it would be easy to say he failed in the NFL.

Do you have mental problems?

Can you point out in this entire fricking thread where I ever talked about anything Hebert said?

Is there a fund I can donate to so I can help people like you?

i have been staying away from sports radio the last couple of days so i may have not heard everything bobby said,in fact the only thing i heard him say was about the game plan and qb situation in the championship game.

In that game he did.. did he suck at playing qb ? HELL NO!

He was average at best.

Brooks was a better Saints QB than Bobby

Bobby did make a pro bowl as a Falcon but sometimes marginal players make Pro bowls. See Derek Anderson for example.

Bobby has done numerous shitty things as a player. For example:

Soaring as a dirty bird in the dome as mentioned earlier in the dome.

The Eric Martin incident that a poster mentioned earlier

quote:

In 1990, he held out for more money due to contract disputes. Therefore, Saints GM Jim Finks traded away several draft choices for Steve Walsh. In 1991 and 1992 he led the Saints to excellent starts and playoff appearances.

- He held out and handcuffed the Saints.
- He has criticized numerous players for holding out. For example, Reggie Bush's rookie year.

Im sick of him spewing nonsense on the radio like when he said he never felt he could play with Montana but felt he could compete with Young.

He did bitch about his son not playing but it was brought up by a caller. He did go on to spew stats about T-bob to make him look good but everybody know T-bob was terrible.

I rarely listen to WWL because I can't stand the bullshite that comes out of his mouth. Heberts terrible

That is what I'm talking about though which you don't seem to comprehend.

Furthermore, having the physical ability to play in the NFL and having the football mind to coach at a high collegiate level or NFL are two totally different things. What kind of NFL playing career did Bill Belichick have? Sean Payton? Saban?

Then why are you responding to someone that said nothing about what Hebert said? Why should I try to comprehend something that isnt in the realm of anything I am talking about?

I would agree that QB and Coach are two separate things. If Bobby is arguing about which QB is better then I guarantee he knows a whole hell of a lot more about that than a coach that was once a lineman.

AGAIN I WILL REITERATE the only thing I said in this thread is that NO NFL QB past or present sucks at playing QB. BH just happened to be a Pro Bowl QB in his day to boot so it makes that statement even more retarded..

Is there an 800 number or can I just send in a check?

I really have no clue where you drew this conclusion and you just mindlessly ran with it..

quote:

So in other words, you're complementing Hebert for making the playoffs and failing miserably while Hebert criticizes Miles for going 13-1 and failing in the championship?

Where did I say anything about YOU specifically other than you complementing Hebert for his career and not 1 game and implying that Hebert himself should probably follow your lead?

but but you can't beat Bama with a pocket passer. You need a running QB. That's why Les has 3 of pocket QBs for the next 4 years.
