Yes, and not once did he say he was mad at Miles because he lost the Championship Game.

All I have ever heard from him is he is mad at how Miles coached the game and handled the QB situation. Simple as that

Again, he said much more than that on Cowherd's show today and he is going on Finebaum's show to make more of an arse out of himself tomorrow.

most on here are not mad we lost it is HOW WE PLAYED AND PREPARED. how we did not go down swinging and at least try everything. we did NOT. why were we running in the 4th quarter and not passing in a 2 minute offense? hell we shoulda been doing that in the 3rd quarter. did miles give up? why?

Bobby Hebert should feel for JJ. Most Saints fans were booing Bobby and cheering for John freaking Fourcade to take his place

Pretty similar actually in the fact that the Saints had a dominating defense in the dome patrol but poor qb play from Hebert let them down when it mattered most.

so the Saints were the most talented team in the NFL during that era?

Was Bobby ever near the highest paid QB in the NFL?

Tbob needs to call daddy and tell him to STFU. The kid had a good career at LSU and has been a good sport with interviews and such. He was given his fair shake over the course of his 4 years. Bobby is taking this to the point of hurting the program, and while many of you see him as a hero right now, what good could possibly come out of it?

No, but neither is LSU if that's what you're implying.

Look, all I'm saying is that Miles has experienced way more success in his job as a head football coach than Hebert did in his playing career. He made his point at the post game press conference. Why is he still appearing on all of these other radio shows to continue to blast Coach Miles?

His criticism along with everyone's about Miles isn't that he lost the game or that he went 13-1.

It is that his his gameplan was a joke, he was out coached, and he gave up on his team with an entire quarter to go only down by two scores.

Last game of the season you give everything you got. No one can sit here and say Miles coached the game to the last second trying to fight for his team. HE DIDNT!

I don't know...maybe the next time there is an overwhelming cry of "WTF Miles?" maybe he'll reflect on his poor choices Monday night, recall this dust up(Hebert) and consider that maybe, just maybe there is another path besides off the cliff all critics be damned.

How bout this Bobby. When you finally led the Saints to the playoffs against the Eagles YOU SUCKED. Gift wrapped two tds to Eric Allen then abandoned the city for the Atlanta Falcons where you came back and had your say, beat the Saints in one game and acted the fool you are by imitating a soaring bird. So you might want to temper your opinions a bit and cut down on the drinks. If you accomplished one tenth of what Les Miles has done you might have a stable platform. So until you actually do something STFU!

You are still claiming that the guy couldnt play qb? seriously? Let me guess you are one of those morons that also claim that the worst nfl team could lose to the best college team huh? Hebert gave up 36 points? He didnt have a great game but to say he single handedly allowed 36 points further proves how much of a joke ypu are.

I know you know everything about football but that was Steve Walsh with the 2 eric allen pick 6s.

And Bobby was the start of turning the Saints around.

Recap of 1993 Saints playoff game vs. the Eagles

The two teams exchanged field goals in the third quarter, and the score was 20-10, New Orleans, going into the final period.

With less than 11 minutes left in the game, Cunningham connected with wide receiver Fred Barnett for a 35-yard touchdown completion. Then on the first play of the Saints' next possession, Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner intercepted a pass to set up running back Heath Sherman's 6-yard touchdown, giving Philadelphia the lead, 24-20. After New Orleans got the ball back, Eagles defensive lineman Reggie White sacked Hebert in the end zone for a safety. Philadelphia kicker Roger Ruzek then added a 39-yard field goal, and 19 seconds later, defensive back Eric Allen intercepted Hebert and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown.

Great job, Bobby.

This sums it up for me 100%. The defense fought tooth and nail. They salvage the only shred of pride for our fighting Tigers. The coaching staff should have tried something different, anything different, like putting in a different QB just to see if it would work or not.

If Les had done that, and defeat was still the outcome, there would not be this huge firestorm spreading across the bayou. There would still be groaning and gnashing of teeth, but the majority would be satisfied that Les did all he could to win. It would be seen as a heroic effort not a complete debacle.

Bobby needs to put a spin on the loss for the sake of LSU. He needs to understand that speaking his mind might sway potential recruits to go elsewhere. Recruiting, as we all know, is the life line for a college football programs.

Catman88,
You have idiots on this board claiming that the coach with the highest winning percentage in LSU history, 3 West Division titles, 2 SEC Championships, and a BCS Championship...coming off a 13-1 season being trashed on this site.

And you're offended by people that think Bobby Hebert sucked....

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
