Gonzales was a waste of coaching pay the past few years. I think he did a fairly poor job of teaching our receiving corps how to get to open space. Especially when guarded by talented defensive backfields.

This,.... and FYI, we had a proven qb on the sideline watching.... one who had been hitting open receivers for the first 9 games

Totally agree- maybe he did a lot behind closed doors, but I really don't see where he helped us from a coaching or recruiting standpoint. If he can nab an OC position, good for him, I wish him well...

Helps if you have a HC who believes that the QB position is not a third running back. Considering the WRs that are running for the exits, this would be considered a.) not a surprise and b.) not a bad move.
