Who do you envision when you hear this guy every Tuesday on the radio show?
It's like clockwork. You KNOW that guy is just sitting there in his underwear smoking a cigarette, just waiting for them to open the phone lines!
This is who I think of:

like that guy, Mike from Plaquemine who used to always call in some show. Maybe the post game show.

Billy, stop downvoting my thread.

He also calls into every Shreveport based radio sports show, every day.

Let me guess: he wants to keep Coach O

Whatever happened to Mike from Plaquemine?
Posted on 11/16/16 at 2:34 pm to Fat Bastard
Mike from Plaquemine is a 43yr old (currently) who has never held a job because he is mentally handicapped. He lives with his parents and is an internet junkie. He loves LSU sports and can spit off stats and rosters and past game sequences like no one I know. Great guy who means well.

Mike from Plaquemine
in to Buddy Songy's show just about every day but this was
some years ago.

One of the funniest Mike from P calls ever was back in the 90s when Mike called in and in the middle of his spiel, his mom picked up the other line and told him to "get off the phone, Mike, I need to call Aunt Rhonda.." in this really annoyed voice. Whatever show it was at the time played that clip incessantly for about 3 years at random times. Hilarious.

IS MFP still around?

I have to turn the dial when this clown comes on ok. He knows NOTHING, ok. (Beavis laugh) alright?

"Maaaa, I'm on the phone... ok... maaa"
I still recall this is in conversations with buddies of mine.
It was Ott or Hannagrifs show on WIBR

I saw a picture of him once in a magazine article about sports fans. Figured out it was "that" Billy based on some comments he made, and someone who knew him confirmed.
I don't recall what he looked like, but I remember being surprised and a bit disappointed that he looked like a regular guy.
He must be retired, on disability, or a lottery winner. He can't possibly fit a job in between all those calls and sports viewing.

Finebaum should have trademarked dumb redneck call-in shows.
