Simmons was always a one and done... we had 3 years for Fournette to be showcased.

just how in the hell is fournette a waste of talent?
did you not see HIS year last year? and he's hurt this year.
I guess you don't think LSU also needs other players and a passing game.

Considering we had 3 shots with Leonard I'll go with him. Not to mention overall the football team is much more talented than the basketball team and has much better depth.

Simmons because a single player can make a bigger difference on a basketball team. A good RB still needs some blocking.

Simmons absolutely. What we did with him was unforgivable. Also football is so much more than one player.

Fournette - he has looked as advertised and we've had three seasons with him (not to mention being loaded with talent around him).
Simmons is a great talent, but doesn't have a take-over-the-game mindset yet and the talent around him was no comparison. At least we beat UK with him. We knew not to expect too much with Johnny Jones. People actually thought the football team would be awesome this year.
