Since Bama is coming to Baton Rouge in two weeks, you may want to hang on to that towel...

Auburn 06 by far....5 of our 10 offensive possessions in the game were either stopped or limited by bad officiating. That's unheard of in a game of that magnitude.

Ding, Ding, Ding. It's not that they were affected by a penalty, but that the penalty (or lack thereof) was in every case an obvious mistake and detrimental to LSU, and LSU alone. Auburn cannot point to even one bad call that was made to their detriment.

Bama 09 was bad, but it's still a DISTANT 2nd.

Right, and because of that you've only won how many games in BR? Granted, your team deserved to win most of these games, but come on. "You've been cheated in Baton Rouge more than once." Please, share with us some examples. Let's see, maybe one, the 2004 no-call on an interception by Corey Webster. And how many points did you lose that game by, was the no-call really the difference maker. By the way, your buddies in the Birmingham SEC Officials office offered a formal apology for that missed call; I've given up on LSU ever getting anything but the d!@k from the SEC officiating office.

I was at both games and 06 auburn was much much worse. There were multiple bad calls that directly affected the outcome of the game. Bama 09, was one terrible call, but it most probably didn't change the outcome.

the difference is that LSU fans admit that it was a shitty call in 2004 against Alabama.

This. LSU had ZERO offense that game. What did we have, like 0 first downs in the 4th quarter? It's a shame it took a great play away from a great player, but LSU was NOT the better team on the field that day.

LSU was the better team v. Auburn in '06, but too many of its best players were negated by bad officiating.

I can only recall 2 bad calls against Bama in the last 15 years in TS.

1) The PI call from like 2004

And BAMA fans are certainly still talking about it even though LSU won by 16 points.

2) Refs look at replay board before replay

Now it was retarded that the officials gave Bama the ball to begin with considering the LSU punt receiver muffed the ball got it back and handed it to the official. NO BAMA player ever even touched the ball..

But the stupid officials did make the dumb frick call to begin with but used the replay board to make it right which wasnt legal.

Worst ref hose job that didn't work was West Virginia v. Pitt '07. Karma is a bitch!

Pretty sure we led most of the game.

What most discount is if we get the ball back in that situation after PP7 intercepts the ball, it is automatic 4 down territory because of time on the clock and the ball being pretty close to midfield. That's one extra play per series for the offense to make a play. That's an additional 33% chance to make a play and it usually works to an offense's advantage.

LSU absolutely DOMINATED AU that year. We had 2x the offensive output that AU had that year.

Could we have played better on offense? Certainly, but that aint what this thread's about.

This has EVERYTHING to do with this thread. IF LSU does better on offense you guys would not be BITCHING about the refs. It goes back to my point that LSU fans think when LSU does lose its always the refs fault.

Hell in 2004 AU ONLY won because the refs threw a flag that has never been thrown before and was the only time it was ever thrown for jumping while trying to block a kick.

SO LSU did not have ANY CHANCES TO SCORE more points before this call?????

The Auburn game cost us a shot at another Championship. We beat Arkansas and would have played Florida again but we had 2 losses early in the season. We were dominant late in the season.

Spin it all you want. LSU LOST and yes it was a shitty call. But IF LSU was the better team it would not have come down to that play. Just like in 2006.
