Bigger Ref Job? Auburn 06 or Bama 09?

More mistakes yes. Bigger obvious frick up... Bama

Auburn 06 by far....5 of our 10 offensive possessions in the game were either stopped or limited by bad officiating. That's unheard of in a game of that magnitude.

We scored like 3 points against Auburn. That loss was on the offense more than anything.

Alabama was worse, although they was no way we were driving 70 yards on Alabama to win the game anyway.

Maybe it's because I was at Auburn in 06, but I think the missed PI and "incomplete pass" was such an obvious screw up that I still get angry thinking about it.

the Bama one was bad, but it was close...

the Auburn call was just ridiculous.

The penalty was called and then picked up AFTER The moved the ball down the field and LSU was about to snap the ball. Not to mention the Hester 1st down in which he ran 4 yards with the ball then fumbled and recovered it and they ruled it an incomplete pass.

Let's not forget the rape job pass interference right before the half that made us settle for the FG.

Or the phantom holding call by a man with a cast on his arm bringing back a 25-yard first down pass.

Or the Auburn fumble that LSU recovered which was not even reviewed.


I agree with a poster above. That was the only LSU game I can remember where I truly felt that the game was "stolen" from us. Bama 09 was bad, but at least it wasn't stolen ... we would have still had to drive the field and score.

It was pervasive throughout the game.

Let's also remember that the refs in the Auburn game called PI and then picked it up.

Because we probably punch it in on that drive if we get a first down there. There was no way in hell Lee was going to bring us down the field against Alabama last season.
