I'd say dural won that one. What you think?

It was nice to see 245 lb Beckwith stand up 295 lb Gordon.

This drill is pretty much blocking for WR. Adams got off him pretty easy

I come away from the videos thinking Coach Orgeron was not impressed by what he saw.

No, the drill is who gains ground. The defender is not supposed to evade or get off the block. Adams pushed Dural back, so he won. The winner is who gets the initial push.

Yeah I know. However this drill pretty worthless for most positions. However in game it's pretty similar to WR blocking. In a game dural would have gotten destroyed

TQ vs JMills at 4:49. JM taunts TQ by telling the guys in back of Trey to back up, then TQ gets the best of him! btw, both are listed at 6', 194.

What about walkon FB JD Moore? He was pretty quick off the line. Looked like Frank Wilson, as well as his teammates, were pretty pumped.

The Big Cat Drill is more than just a physical battle; it teaches them to have discipline following the play (i.e. JC Copeland's personal foul against Alabama).

It seems pretty obvious that TQ is pretty well liked by the team following his rep with JM. Love to see the excitement that is produced during this drill.

Maybe it's just me but I think that drill is weak...Shows nothing.

AVery Peterson has certainly gotten bigger and stronger no doubt. not sure if he will get much PT given the bevy of WR in front of him. You have to think:

Dural
Quinn
Malachi
Diarse
Spears

are all likely in front of him and if Ty Johnson is as good as advertised he may be as well.

Quinn definitely got the best of Mills. Team's reaction is priceless. Love it!

It leaves something to be desired sometimes. Some matchups are great, others are very MEH. The part that bothers me the most is if one of them slips or has a crappy start that's it. No rematch to clean it up. Very anticlimactic a lot of the time
