Jamal Adams has the Tyrann Mathieu quickness. Whether he has the ball skills or not remains to be seen, but he just moves at a higher speed than everyone.

If I had to pick between him and Hootie Jones, I would take Adams all day every day and I thought that when we could have had both. Super excited about him.

The biggest positive I got from watching this video is that our offensive linemen are getting good explosion and keep their pads low. They will be creating some holes. I don't put too much stock in this drill for other positions as they rely on different techniques for effectiveness in actual game situations. Backs and wide receivers do not have defenders lined up in front of them to engage from a standing start, and defensive players do not look to lockup with blockers, they try to shed them.

agreed. when i heard the rumblings about adams when hootie was becoming less likely, i completely stopped giving a shite about hootie. i may be a total homer, but adams is the better player. period.

Man Peterson has really put on some good weight. Dude was a straight up bean pole when he got here. I think he got Moffitsized.

May just be me but seems like there is a lack of emotion in this big cat drill.

Malachi is a tall lanky WR who is 18. He doesn't need to be a monster to jump up and high point a ball.

Jamal Adams will be an All American before he leaves LSU barring injury. He's got something special about him. Big guy, silky smooth, strong, quick, and has showed great hands in the gauntlet drill.

yea, exactly. He's a tall lanky freshman, Adams is a stout safety that has 20lb on him as well as a big time leverage advantage.

Dupre will be a stud, he's just not built for a drill like that
