LSU's not trying to be like Oregon. The only addition is occasional use of white helmets and white pants. They aren't my favorite. Largely because LSU's purple and gold is one of the more unique color combos in college football. However, the players appear to love the white uniforms. Go look at any recruiting art/photos. You will almost always see recruits wearing the white uniforms...to some degree. If for whatever reason that draws recruits in, then use it.

I always liked the all white

I enjoy when they switch up the uniforms

I liked the old school helmets with the numbers and the gray face masks

My favorite combination...I just wish we would go back to purple and NOT blue.

I’ll always prefer the darkest purple. I remember watching bball games in early 90’s and for the first few seconds thinking Shaq and team were wearing all blacks.

I love it!

It got a horrible reputation back in the Cholly Mac, Stovall, Archer and Hallman eras thanks to all the losses, but we haven't lost in that combo since 2000 @ Florida and have won about 50 times wearing it, albeit mostly bad opponents; the notion of its bad luck or that it's "cursed" just seems silly today.

If the Tigers decide to wear this for all their home games, and the traditional gold/white/gold for all road games, ca plane pour moi!-- for a man who watched all their games during the Hodson, Eddie Fuller and Wendell Davis era that would be a return to normalcy
