Best uniform combo in years

Give it up to the athletic department for bringing back some of the old heads’ fondest memories in the….
Gold helm;
Darker purple top;
Gold britches.

^^better than the darkest purple (88 earthquake)^^
I realize we won’t see it often next year.
But since we pulled it out for the bowl game, I won’t complain too much when we go all go5-like, & start experimenting with different combos.

I don't think you can beat the gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants. That's our classic uniform.
One game a year I like wearing these 2 sets:
1 gold helmets, purple jerseys and gold pants
2) white helmets, white jerseys and white pants.

We have toyed with the uniforms too much lately. The traditional gold, white, gold should be worn most of the time, and the gold, purple, gold can be worn a couple of times vs rent a wins. But enough with trying to be like Orgeon. You don’t see Alabama getting stupid with their uniforms. Tradition matters.

this alternate was very clean, some LSU fans hated it but I always loved it

Yeah that’s it.
The standard white jersey, gold helmet, gold pants is still my favorite but that throwback is second place for me. Makes me think about the LSU legends like YA Tittle.
