This team will not be able to run but a 55-60 pass attempt game from them will amount to 350 pass yards or more. Count on it!

isn't he the only qb that wasn't a backup?

Is this guy a pocket passer w/ limited running skills? If so, he will be in for s long evening with the emergence of our DL and Mills rejoining the DB group.

Seriously, when this guy, whose name I'm not even bothering to remember, does nothing tomorrow, will you come back and say "perhaps I was a bit hyperbolic?"

Just like every other QB sans Treon Harris has done nothing against our secondary? Furthermore I'm not pumping WKU as a team so what does the performance tomorrow have anything to do with who the better QB is?

He has

plays anything resembling a decent team

So it's his fault he's on WKU's team and improved as a player?

What does any of that have to do with him being a better QB than Dak? There are plenty of good-great QB's who did not play in P5 conferences.

I think you're just being intentionally difficult at this point.

No, I'm being objective while you're being a homer.

As great as this 6th year senior seems, why is he rated a 3rd or 4th round draft pick?

Best way to answer this question is a- how did qb do against LSU
B how he did against everyone else
All results will answer the question.
That's any qb LSU faces!
The qb accolades will present themselves after the season . Dak will not get as many as this wku qb gets. You can count on it!

How am I being a homer? I don't like MSU or Dak. I hate everyone in the SEC. Prescott has put up objectively great stats in what is considered by everyone who knows the first thing about college football to be the best conference in the land. I'm not saying what's his face at WKU isn't good or won't have a good pro career or won't put up good numbers against us (I could see us sitting back and keeping everything in front of us a la WVU 2011), but he carries the burden of showing me he can do what he's done against an objectively good to great team like LSU. Prescott has already showed me that.

How do you say this speaking objectively? As I stated before, outside the top 3 the SEC is a shite show. WKU beat Vandy, Toledo beat Ark, Memphis beat Ole Miss, AU almost lost to Jacksonville St, EKU took UK to overtime, Mizzou is shite, TN lost to an OU team who lost to fricking Texas, USCe had a nail biter with UCF (quite possible the worst team in CFB). SEC hasn't won a championship in what over 2 years. Dak has put up good stats but he also has the talent around him to compete with teams in his conference, obviously. You can't slight a QB just because he doesn't have the talent around him to compete with other conferences, that's just idiotic.

Was the SEC not the best conference or at the very least the 2nd best conference in the country last year?

It was the 2nd best conference last year because the casual fan has rode the SEC glory for so long. The SEC is just like any other P5 conference as it stands today. By that I mean, the top 3 from the SEC and other P5 conferences would be stiff competition for each other on a neutral site and every other mid-tier to bottom-tier level team matchups from P5 conferences would be competitive sans ACC/Big East.

And are you willing to concede the SEC is significantly if not exponentially better than CUSA?

Obviously, although I don't see what that really has to do with the argument at hand other than CUSA lacks a recruiting base and talent at the player and coaching level. They aren't even P5. It sure doesn't mean there can't be a diamond in the rough in that conference. Are you willing to concede the SEC is on par with the Big 10, Pac 12, Big 12, and top half of the ACC and Big east?

Vandy must have been highly prepared when they held him to 14 points. Funny how that works...the better the defense you play the less productive you generally are.
