Before anyone says ooo he has not played anyone . The western Kentucky qb will test the DBU. Secondary more than anyone has year to date. This guy could be the best qb LSU faces this year. I hope coach Steele and coach Raymond have these guys prepared for wheel routes , back shoulders, hitch routes, go routes, fades, pick plays , slants , crosses, flag routes , posts and bombs. Did I leave anything out ? I apologize. This is a future nfl qb that will be as good as any non big 5 conference qb LSU will face. LSU DBS will have to play their best game of the year for 60 minutes !

The only thing I hate about this season is that LSU hasn't played a well balanced team yet. The first one will be at Bama and that worries me. WKU will test our secondary, but their defense and run game is awful so we should come out with an easy victory after the talent sets in.

I'm sure your guys have heard the hype this dude is getting, and will want to send him home with his tail between his legs. They should be ready.

Either way, I can't wait for th game. Get to see this kid, and how y'all's secondary responds. Plus LF will is can't miss TV. LSU football is must match this year. Kick their arse.

So basically every possible route

Excellent analysis coach. Your film review has paid off

Hopefully we pay attention to them passing the ball, running the ball, punting the ball and kicking the ball too

LSU doesn't commit turnovers and limits wku qb under 250 the w will be attainable even with the poor special teams play .

I hope Lewis Neal eats this kid in the first quarter so everyone chills out.

Dak by far. This isnt the nfl where everybody more or less plays the same game. Daks the most dangerous qb we'll face until we see JT Barrett in the playoffs.

Honestly, I haven't seen a well balanced team this year.

We have a tough road ahead, but I'm not worried. I think Florida is the real deal and we will meet them again, on a neutral field.

Almost everyone else has been a back up anyway.

Doughty will be the best passer we face all year no doubt, but he is immobile (2 knee surgeries but wasn't really a runner prior to that anyway). Neal is coming into his own the last couple of games and we finally got Bower back last week. His best bet is to 3 step drop and dink and dunk us all game (the strategy most everyone uses against us).

I think we harass him plenty with the front 4 and with Mills back, we cut down on the ridiculous amount of guys being out of position in the secondary.

What an absurdly long list of routes to just feel the need to type out. We got your point, and no, nobody is impressed. Do you thing college altheses at this level don't know these routes? Do you hate Tim Riggines?

Dak is the answer...given more time, lsu might have an L from him.

Agree, that if lsu faces anyone worth their salt, Boykin and Barrett look to be the most dangerous.

Kelly might give lsu fits.

I like the way this is going. People are building this game up so much, I don't think the fan base or media would be upset with a close game. That being said, I think LSU silences that pretty quickly. Dbs will have a chance to make a huge impact and I think they step up with a pick six early and build off of that.

Not so fast my friend!

Everybody said the UF defense was all that too, until they played us. We put up more yards on them in the 1st half than they'd given up all year to anyone in a complete game.

Once again proving that gaudy stats that the pundits love to spout, are all dependent upon whom you play. Wait till they play us in TS. They should be afraid, very afraid, of getting exposed, and they will!

You may want to let the WKU QB know that it is very difficult to pass the football when you are face-planted on the Tiger turf! LSU defense up front is going to make sure that Mr. future all-pro in the NFL is going to have to deal with a ferocious pass rush on Sat. night in Death Valley. That is all!

I recall playing
Ben Rothlesburger from Miami Ohio, another small school with an NFL QB. I believe we won that game by 50+
