I just remembered a great story from the 2014 Ole Miss game in the pit at college gameday. A couple of guys near us snuck in a sign that said "Hugh Freeze Came Early". Not exactly super clever but inappropriate enough to not be on TV. Well one of the shows producers/enforcers was walking around outside the pit and clearly had seen this sign on one of the monitors or god willing even on the broadcast. He starts screaming during a commercial break "who has the sign that says hugh freeze came early! Who has the sign that says hugh freeze came early!" until he spots the guys and damn near starts climbing over the barricade to come get it before the guys just handed it over to him. Didn't kick them out or anything but god was he pissed. Those guys behind the scenes must have to deal with so much shite from rowdy/troublesome college kids and I don't think any school has them out en mass and with as much zeal as LSU for college football games

A few years back I was holding a sign and some bitch behind me started angrily complaining that she couldn’t see. I turned around and said I bet your the type who gets mad when people stand and cheer at games also.

In 2009 for the Florida game Tim Tebow had just had that awful concussion and two drunk LSU guys roll out this absolutely enormous sign at gameday that spread at least 10 yards and required two people to hold it. It read “hey timmy, how many fingers am I holding up?” And had an enormous hand giving a middle finger.

Espn made them take that down with the quickness

Correct me if I'm wrong but I kinda remember a story where Corso was hit with some batteries one year?? Supposedly thats why they implemented the net around them?

The golf ball.

When game day set up at the PMAC ramp iirc, someone tossed a golf ball at Herbie. Almost hit him too.

They started putting a net up after that.

I made a big arse Photoshopped pic of Katy Perry eating a corn dog. I had to take a flash drive to Middleton and pay like $5 to have it printed. When it started coming out of the large scale printer one of the workers said "holy shite" and waved a few others over to see this monstrosity coming from their machine.

ETA: found the pics that family sent me when it happened

Last year some college kid next to me was with his buddies when he yelled across one of the barricades (about 20 feet away) at like a 14 year old high school boy. His buddies all turned and asked him how he knew the kid.

The college kid smirked and said, “Oh he walked in on me and his sister doing anal in her bedroom.”

I don’t think this funny encounter will ever escape my mind.

Also turns out I know the girl and her little bro.

When game day was at the Maravich Center ramp, the band was right there and was great. But I remember better a poor drunk male student stumbling up the ramp peeing all over the place. Must have been a long night.

It was a golf ball that the athletic department still possesses. And yes it is why the nets are up there.

Not technically gameday, but I'm pretty sure you were one of the guys that camped out with us on the PMAC ramp for the Oklahoma basketball game.

My wife doesn’t understand why I constantly laugh out loud when reading this site.

How can gameday get away with telling you what can be on the signs . Don’t we believe in freedom of speech!

2008 GameDay vs Alabama, about 6:45am a couple of 7-8 year olds were tossing a football around by the set when suddenly, in one fluid motion, a jeep swerves into a parking spot, a guy in a giant banana costume jumps out, runs over, intercepts the ball and punts it about 40 yards away while his friend in a gorilla costume runs up to one of the kids and starts yelling in his face while holding a sign that says Geaux Bananas
