PP7 is my favorite of the three. Don't get me wrong, I love TM7 and LF7 but it was something about the humble swag (if there is such a thing) PP7 had. Just loved the way he played the game. Also the pride he has in his almamater now that he is in the NFL is awesome. You can tell he sincerely loves LSU.

would have loved to have seen him play that last year when he got kicked off the team. The most disappointed I've been in a long time.
we would have beaten bama that year for sure.

His redemption in the nfl has been fun to watch. Dude had enough pain for ten lifetimes. I can handle LSU losing a few games that year if it put him ultimately on a path for success.

There's a Twitter string that a journalist did when TM7 got kicked off the team that put me to tears. Something like he was interviewing TM7 and the shite he was telling him was so bad that at first he wished he would stop talking and then he just wished that what he was saying wasn't true. It was short but it really cut to the core of the shite he grew up with.

TM7 had a disaster of a childhood. He really is a great story.

Show me a highlight reel for a defensive player that's better than TM7

It doesn't exist. Tyrann Mathieu was pound for pound the most destructive defensive player ever to play college football.

TM7 by far the favorite, and I absolutely love Patrick Peterson.. but TM7 was just a game changer.. a season changer.. a mindset changer.. brought so much confidence in the entire defense.. the entire team. Ignited that entire run.

I agree that Fournette is on his way to both though.

PP7 was a beast but he was not better in college than TM7

They played different positions

Mathieu was put in a position to make a lot more plays around the ball and he was masterful at stripping the ball and creating turnovers

That being said, you wouldn't leave him in man coverage against Julio Jones and A.J. Green like Peterson was asked to do

2 completely different players

LF7

But honorable mention to Mr. Rondell Mealey because my late mother thought he was neat.

Showing my age here, but my all-time favorite #7 is Steve Rehage, hardest hitting safety I've ever seen...

Peterson, hands down. Best overall ATH to ever play FBALL at LSU IMO. LF might catch him ;-)
