No. In the popular picture people like to show, he doesn't have his right foot down.

He had possession when his left foot was down...ball was in his hands...and in control.

You can't determine possession from a still shot. Watch the video; he doesn't have it.

i've seen multiple vids...he had it.

Besides...as I've stated before...most of the country believes it was a pick. You are definitely in the minority here. Good luck on your crusade.

Just because majority believes something doesn't mean it is right.

He may have had an INT, but under the constraints of the rules and the process of replay there was not enough evidence to overturn the play. LSU fans refuse to believe this and cling to stupid conspiracies rather than embrace the truth.

It was a close play... had it been ruled an INT, it would not have been overturned.

That we can agree on. Though I don't think it was that close...I clearly saw his left foot in the field of play while he had control of the ball in his hands.

According to What really happens in the SEC replay booth, they also had these two views of the play:

Keep talking out of your arse. I don't need to see the rule book for a game that I played for 18 years. Do you know the difference between a hands catch and a body catch in terms of when control is established? Guess not.

Those two views just show he had his left foot down. Continue them and show his right foot being inconclusive.

He had clear control when his left foot was down. THEN, when his right foot was in the field of play I saw a piece of GREEN turf come up.

Done, it was a pick.

Doesn't mean his entire foot landed in bounds. It's obvious most of his right foot landed in bounds, but we don't know for sure his entire foot made is inbounds.

Ergo, INCONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE.

So tell me, in a hands catch that is not bobbled or double caught, when is possession established?

He would have had possession had he not tried to tuck the ball. Tucking the ball caused him to gain possession after his left foot came off the ground.

That's IMO and obviously the opinion of the replay officials.

Did the replay official have access to that video?

Do you have an online link to that video?

That is the best possible view, and could be conclusive, but it doesn't mean shite if they didn't have access to it.
