THE Timing of poor performances was a factor in last year's failure. Ben S. not asserting hisself at crucial times of games. The Freshman Blakeney not coming on until the second half of the season.Even Hornsby played timid and turned the ball over a lot at a pivotal point of the season, for example-Alabama at home and of course times of his Injuries.
TQ had heart and tried to step up when nobody else could or would, but his skill set and physical aspect didn't go together. He was built to be a versatile small forward, not your primary ball handler, but the other PG's were even less quicker in the half court. And,TQ didn't shoot well enough to be an effective SF.But it is troubling Ben didn't dand the ball and show that fight down low when most needed, which would of made up for his shooting woes.Maybe he wasn't hungry enough because he didn't have to fight to make it to the NBA.

His lack of effort on the defensive end was pathetic. If his shot wasn't falling, it impacted him on the other end of the floor. He should have been the best Guard defender in the conference, yet was a liability

TQ continuously denied the ball to the post

I agree. He disappeard the last ten mins of the OU game.....IMO it cost LSU the game...........

Agreed. Vitale and Musberger were BEGGING him to step up against OU, but he didn't.

And earlier, he passed up a game winning shot against Marquette and got blasted by the analyst.

Recurring theme for Ben, unfortunately.

One of my favorite things to watch on this board is when an idiot is clearly getting schooled and still thinks they're the only smart guy in the room. Keep it up, dumbass.
