But he's faster too... Loyalty to Welter kept KB off field more...

Its just beyond me how the coaches had Welter in. Not only is he a better athlete, but Beck also has better football instincts from playing QB in high school. This was just bad coaching IMHO. But great thing it is right now. The fans were actually right one time, about a player personnel decision. (LOL)

Really? You weren't watching the first half of the year when Beckwith had no clue WTF was going on? You really have "no idea"?

Lol it wouldn't matter if Welter knew the opposing teams playbook by heart, he couldn't do anything about it.

The question would always arise in my mind while watching Alabama, 'why can't we have a 250-lb monster in the middle wreaking havoc as they always do?'

Well HELL'S BELLS, apparently we CAN!

Wait, are you saying he should replace Welter? YOU'RE A NEGATIGER!

Did I do that right?

I think it's fair to say the only thing beckwith needed was snaps and reps. He wasn't getting first reps in practice until a few weeks ago.

I have a funny feeling beckwith would have played like this last year if chief would have played him.

Water under the bridge, LOVE our linebacker play now

I guess the rant was right about the Welter/Beckwith situation. Make you wonder what else they be right about?

This. I think they eased him in and gave him time to learn.

Paid off.

He was spectacular last night. Almost a relief to see him play so well.
