Sorry that an undefeated, SEC Championship winning and BCS title appearance season is that miserable that you have to "suck it up" for one more game.
I'm pretty sure that the team is happy where they are and the players aren't going to make themselves miserable like the fans are because their favorite player isn't playing as much as YOU think he should.

That is your favorite post isn't it?

Just pointing out how ridiculous you are sounding in regards to "sucking it up" for one more game.
LSU is undefeated. The team is elite. The program is elite with a bright future. The top of the college football world. You should enjoy it and not "suck it up" and act like BCS championship games are just something to get through.

A thread about Odell Beckham turns into a Jefferson vs Lee debate. So pathetic.
All roads end at JL vs JJ.

You miss the point.
It's ok though.

It is not Beckham, u only have to look back at the QB, I am pulling for Lsu & JJ or who ever can help us beat Bama.

I'm sure it will evolve into a which one is the better pro prospect.
Answer: neither

Because J. Lee was a turnover machine this season?
Until the Bama game, no. After that, it was determined that JJ gives LSU the best chance to win. When JJ plays, it's run-oriented. Lee can beat anybody except Bama. JJ has proven he can. So LSU takes on a more run-oriented offense, leaving the WRs, including Beckham, with fewer opportunities.

JL only had 3 in the 8 games that he played in this year.
And 2 really bad, panicked INTs in one half against Alabama, who we will play in a week.
Some people really are absofrickinglutely ignorant.

I'm not saying that Lee didn't frick up, he did. But to call him a turnover machine is 'absofrickinglutely ignorant'
LINK
If 63% completions and 13 TD's to 3INT is a turnover machine then I'll need to re-evaluate the way I watch football.
I think Jefferson should be our starter. Lee is a backup, was a backup all season just waiting for our starter to be ready. I'm not arguing for Lee to play in this game, but he was not a turnover machine this year.
Edit: Compare to Luck who has a worse ratio of TD:INT. LINK

I'm looking at this as a one game season. Lee cannot handle Bama like Jefferson can. Lee performed great for most of the season and deserves credit.

You people are fricking idiots. I cannot wait until Jan. 10, because at least then, you twats can't fight about Jefferson and Lee anymore.
fricking assholes, all of you.

LSU doesn't throw the ball a lot. once you digest that, this thread is pointless.

You do know that tehre will be something next year to debate that shouldn't be, and that you don't want to be part of.
you also know you don't have to go through this whole thread once you stop being interested. If you don't want to talk about it don't read it, and don't type. Simple

The numbers don't lie. The question was about his productivity and why it dropped. The original poster already knew what the obvious answer is. Could he just be one of those people who wanted to start another peeing contest? This offense we see now is the same one we ran for the last 2 years. The first 8 games was very different. Most of us liked the new passing game and how well our offense looked going up and down the field without facing 8 in the box. But now we are back to being one dimensional. The receivers are not going to be targeted as much and when they are, the ball will be uncatchable more times than not.

Not to bash anybody, but JL has 1 td and 7ints in his career vs Bama. I think the coaches simply want to avoid giving the ball to Bama IMO. But ODB's numbers are down bc JJ looks at first read, doesn't see it then pulls the ball down. Simple as that if you've watched the games. Or he'll miss the few throws the coaches are calling by 10 yards because he's inaccurate.

Do you really think you know who should be our starter over Miles and our offensive coaches?
Posted on 12/30/11 at 11:41 am to rickyh
Stop acting like Lee was lighting teams up. He threw for 170 yards only twice. And was abysmal against Kentucky. Neither qb is above avg. neither. So why not enjoy the team instead of thinking you, a fan, has all the answers

JJ goes through more than one read. Sorry.

I didn't notice anybody saying that Lee should start the game. I certainly don't think so.
