Anyone else happy to see that? I know Brad is the coach we love to hate on this board but he was Les's right hand man and it probably hurt to see his friend get canned. Nice to see him enthusiastic and having fun with the guys. This is the kind of stuff we haven't seen in awhile and makes LSU football fun again.

Once Orgeron got him off of linebacker coaching duties, special teams improved... if he's devoted on STs im willing to keep him just because of his superb recruiting.

That was great to see. I would be interested in seeing the improvement in special teams since he became the full time special teams coach. For example:

Have we had another kickoff out of bounds after that first one in Coach Orgeron's first game as HC?

How much has the punting average increased?

What is the longest kickoff return allowed since BDP became the full time special team coach?

I know BDP has his coaching shotcomings, but I'll take this over what was happening on the sidelines the last two times we played Arkansas.

Not sure about the increase but we're 9th in the country in kickoff return defense and 20th in net punting.

Les Miles was holding BDP down. Without Les choking him, he is able to coach like he should.

Growden has been excellent, definitely the best punting we've had since Brad Wing in 2011. Once they got rid of the rugby style kicking, he settled in very well. Les apparently thought since he was Australian, he had to punt rugby style.
