Don't count on it considering they spanked an SEC team yesterday

No. But if they win out, they deserve to be in the conversation by now.

They play NOBODY. They have been in the conversation the past couple of years. But it doesnt get them anywhere playing a shite schedule. I would love for them to play the SEC champion in the national title game so we can embarass them just like we have done the Big 10 the past couple of years. Then that will end all of there "conversation"

Wait till that SEC team loses 5 games and that "spanking" will look weak when everyone beats the crap out UGA

You do realize BSU has won big games unlike OSU. Even though they have an easier schedule than SEc teams, people may start to realize they can handle the big games and not overlook them in polls.

Just playing devils advocate

Just wait. They play the SEC winner they dont have a chance. IDC who they beat the last couple years in a BCS game. Last year Auburn would have kicked the shite out of them. Year before that Florida would have stomped them. Nobody can say they think they wouldnt have got stomped the last 2 years vs SEC winner

I personally am pulling for them to go undefeated! LSU will humiliate them with the arse whooping they have been begging for over the last few years!
It will be like playing Ole Miss in the BCS Championship Game!

Sure wish Boise would have played one of the upper echelon SEC teams this year to knock them out of the talk early.

Boise would beat every team in the SEC besides Bama and LSU.

Are you saying if they played a WHOLE season in the SEC they would only be a 2 loss team?

All assumptions, nobody knows. I do believe at full strength in a one game situation they would beat every team outside of Bama and LSU.

Thats the problem. A one game situation. Throw them in a whole SEC season they get walked. Leet them play the SEC champ this year they get walked.

You have no way of knowing this. With a QB the caliber of Kellen Moore, I believe they can compete in any game. I'm not saying Boise can do this every season, i'm specifically talking about this Boise team.

Ok. Well i hope they do get a shot at the SEC champion and watch whoever represents the SEC walk them like a dog.

no, no they wouldn't....

and if they played in the SEC, they'd play those teams every single week, not just once a year, like they get to do now.... anyone can prep for a one time a year matchup (like a big bowl game), but to consistently put up wins in a league like the SEC is extremely hard to do.... and Boise St., as of right now, is not in the same ballpark....

How many teams in the other major conferences wouldn't the SEC champ "walk like a dog". We had a great win over Oregon yesterday and I believe Boise would beat Oregon 8 out of 10 times.

I'd take another national championship under any scenario, but a particularly sweet one would be if somehow we got into the mnc game with two losses, against an undefeated boise state team, and welcomed them to major college football with a about a 45-10 pummeling. keep in mind, for the month leading up to the game, we'd get to hear all the reasons why we don't belong, and all the reasons boise state does belong.

If its so easy, why arent other teams doing it?

Georgia is bad. I don't care that they were ranked #19 in the preseason. The Dawgs were a crap 6-7 team last year that lost to UCF in a bowl game.

By season's end, a 12-0 Boise will have zero wins over actual ranked teams. They can play in a BCS bowl as a reward.

I dont know about yall, but I would be sitting there with a smile on my face if Boise was in the championship over a one loss Bama team.
