Yes they have you dumb arse.

2005-JR
2006-JR
2007-MF
2008-Lee
2009-Jefferson
2010- first time ever with a 2 QB system. That is because both sucked and we were trying to find something that worked. Is that really that hard to comprehend people???

Blind optimism must be fun, what in the ever living blue frick gives you the idea that Miles would start a first year transfer over his senior boy JJ? Mett will spend 2011 learning and step in for 2012.

It is certainly possible.

But let's wait til Mettenberger actually comes in and proves he's better.

I'm glad he signed and am optimistic. But it's eery how similarly graded Lee, Jefferson and Mettenberger are:

Lee
4 star, 5.8 rating, 7th ranked pro style QB in 2007

Jefferson
4 star, 5.8 rating, 8th ranked pro style QB in 2008

Mettenberger
4 star, 5.8 rating, 11th ranked pro style QB in 2009

agree but remember this is LSU....the back-up is always the answer, till he's not. I remember when Randall was the “savior”.

Let's see, where to start?

The assumption that Miles only plays upperclassman was proven wrong this year in case you didn't notice. Miles plays the best players. It's not like we had Tom Brady on the bench behind Jefferson. Neither lee or Jefferson played consistently this year.

Miles has publicly expressed his frustration on the qbs this year. Has said they have been coached as much as possible. He has given up on them.

Miles personally called Mett like every week the past few months and attended his games. He has never shown this much personal attention to a recruit. He didn't do that to sit the guy.

Again, the best player will play... Don't forget Mett has this month, the Spring, Summer, and Fall to win the job. Plenty of time to learn to system.

Lee saved us versus Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama, and you know where it got him? Check his number of games that he has started this year. Miles would start JJ even if Jesus transferred to LSU.

Crowton has me so confused. Do we recruit to the system? Or do we recruit the best, and conform to them? Neither seems to be the case
