Far more efficient, far more space created for their running backs.

Why has Baylor averaged more rushing yards than LSU 4 out of the last 5 years? And they were in the top 5 in passing yards per game in 4 out of 5 of those years with one year where they had the 25th ranked passing offense.

Does Baylor have better talent than LSU? Can LSU run that offense or are they not good enough?

Why doesn't LSU want an offense like that? They have a far better defense than Baylor, wouldn't an offense like that make LSU virtually a juggernaut?

Why? Please explain. I'm curious.

Part of this has to do with how they space themselves. WRs are set literally sideline to sideline which stretches the back end of the defense. Offensive Lineman splits are really tight with a TE used as a H Back shrinking the box creating huge running lanes for backs. I read a stat a year ago which stated Baylor under Briles ran more plays toon than any other team in CFB. He's an old Flexbone Veer guy so you see a lot of concepts in his offense. Idk if they are still running this system though.

They play horrific defenses.

I think you overexaggerate the Big 12 defensive weakness. No one is saying they're great, but this statement seems to insinuate they're...division 2? Not sure. Maybe you should explain with facts.

Thank you. High quality answer. You must be the adult tonight.

I'd imagine they're still running that. Why would they change it after so many years of running it so successfully?

Its amazing how much production that offense gets.

I thought they changed the coaching staff after Briles got let go? If not, then Shock Linwood will have an amazing year
