Baton Rouge, You Got What You Wanted.(Edit: wrote in 2009)

You got a QB who doesnt make mistakes.
I cant tell you how many times I heard last year from fans and so called experts is that "All LSU needs is a QB that doesnt make mistakes. They just need him to get the playmakers the ball and not lose the game."
You got a QB who rarely gets the playmakers the ball in stride so they can do something with it.
You also got a QB who doesnt make big plays.
You also got a QB who doesnt see wide open recievers running down the middle of the field. I dont know if yall have noticed, but Chris Mitchell would be having an All American start to the season if JJ would find him running wide open over the middle and not over throw him when he actually does see him wide open.
You also got a QB who only threw for around 240 yards against a Miss St. team who put 8 in the box all game to stop the run. I think he only completed like 13 passes for just over 50%. Completing 13 passes for just over 50% against 8 in the box is absolutely terrible.
Lastly, the offensive line and full backs cant block when its 7 on 8. I dont care how good they are or arent. And the running backs cant run when there is nowhere for them to go. All of this is directly related to the QB position.
I know we are 4-0. So, I dont want to hear all that shite about he is winning. Save it. We havent played anyone yet. We should have won all those games by a way greater margin.
I dont know who the answer is at QB. But, I do know it isnt JJ.
Once again, Baton Rouge, You got what you wanted.

you're a fricking fool. if LSU had any semblance of an o-line, the offense would be fine. Jefferson is doing just about everything he can out there.

All I ever wanted was for you to STFU.

Guy you are a freaking moving target. Last week it was he could not throw the long ball and couldn't pass for 200 yards. He proved you don't know what the f_ _K you are talking about. Now its without the two long balls (Which per you he can't throw) he did terrible. By the way he threw more than 2 long balls.
I doubt you change your drivel regardless of what JJ does. He'll never be good enough for you and a few others on here. You'll just keep setting new standards to support your assinine arguments against JJ. It is really pitiful and pathetic.
First it was the SEC defenses that would expose him. Two SEC defenses down, now it's wait until Florida. I guess since he proved you wrong the last time you fear he may prove you wrong again against GA (I have faith that he will). If he plays well against FL then it will wait until ALA defense.
Guys like you have used the following to criticize JJ:
1. Short passes
2. Almost interceptions (A new QB stat)
3. Staring down 1 receiver (Players and announcer disagree)
4. Runs after the catch by receivers shouldn't count (A new stat for QB)
5. Can't throw long ball
6. Long ball doesn't count
7. Can't throw for 200 yards
8. Throwing for 200 yards doesn't count
9. Who the f_ _K knows what next
JJ has and will continue to prove you wrong. The problem is you are too ______ to admit it. What fills the blank I do not know. It could be any of a number of reasons. None of which make any sense whatsoever.
Deeeeeamn!
By the way I will try to never respond to you again. It is clear that you have an agenda that suspends all reason and thus is a waste of time. Something just ain't right.
i think this goes for you also

If the line isn't playing good enough, its the coaching. We have plenty of talent and experience on the line. Bama has done well with a new line, Oregon has finally got there line going. Both of those teams replaced more starters than we did........whats the next excuse?

Did it make you feel "big and bad" when you tried to cut down our starting QB who has been pretty damn good so far? You're a fricking tool bag homey.

I'm not griping about JJ at all. He is learning the game, a first year qb. He is not getting us beat and turning the ball over. He will get better, just needs reps.

He may not be the best pocket passer yet but we are not using his best attribute which is dual threat. We started the year looking like we might use the spread option but we backed off. I just don't understand why except that they don't want to get him hurt. But that is the nature of this young man. He is big fast and has an excellent arm. Does he have the chance to make an excellent pocket passer? Yes. But are we useing all of his skills in the last two games? No. I'm still waiting for a down the line option action pass. Should be wide open.

I think your post sucks, but I agree with one point, and it's a point I've been making for a while now. "Just not making mistakes" is not going to cut in against the teams we are about to play. Jefferson is going to have to make plays for us to win. It is that simple. Even if he has to throw a pick or 2 to do it. We are leaving too many points on the field every game. I do think Jefferson is capable of making these plays, the coaches just have to let him. Perhaps if they would show more confidence in him, he would have more in himself.

only a 3.0? You must be towards the bottom of your class nationally.........lol!
