For DirecTV customers:

DIRECTV and ESPN have entered into an agreement for DIRECTV to provide the new SEC Network to fans and followers of the Southeastern Conference when the network launches Aug. 14. The first college football game on the new network will air Aug. 28 featuring Texas A&M vs. South Carolina on channel 611.

Note: The network will be available to customers who have CHOICE or above programming.

DISH announced today it will air the SEC Network on channel 404 within the Hopper® Whole Home HD DVR’s channel guide, per a press released. Current DISH customers who subscribe to the America’s Top 120+ package and above will receive both SEC Network and Longhorn Network at no additional cost. DISH also has Pac-12 Networks and the Big Ten Network available to college football fans. The SEC Network launches Thursday and will be available in nearly 100 million households. The first live college football game on the network will be Aug. 28 - Texas A&M at South Carolina.

Anyone ever confirmed that DTV will have SEC Network in HD. I assumed they would, but never seen it in an article.

WOW. So DirecTV kept it at Choice even outside the footprint. Awesome. That means everyone with DirecTV pretty much gets SEC network

I just went to the Cox website to try and find out the cost of the SEC network, but would have had to go through the whole process of providing my account # etc. to find out the price. Anyone know what it will cost?
