Define success. We made the tourney 10 straight years from late 70's to 80's. It was an active record at the time. Included in there was 2 final fours, final 8's sweet 16's. A few one and dones, but I'd take that 10 year stretch now easily. We were dang exciting to watch and had stretches of great success. I really don't know how you're defining it.

Brady was a shitbag but a better defensive coach than Trent and equally horrible offensive coach, at least his teams busted their asses. This is depressing.

LSU basketball was right behind Kentucky as the best SEC program from 1975-1995. You could even argue that LSU was better. LSU had 2 Final Four appearances, and another Elite Eight under Dale Brown. Even in the Jackson and Shaq years, LSU won SEC titles, even if the NCAA tournament runs were cut short.

Sorry if I piss you off with me being pissed off. And maybe I do feel entitled to see a decent product on the court. I spend my limited resources right now (I'm a broke law student) on watching this team and traveling to see them play yet the fans are repaid with a shite sandwich. If that makes me look like I think I'm on a pedestal then so be it.

Do you realize how long ago that was and how little significance that has? I realize you're probably 60 and went to games back in the day when the arena was hopping and you can tell me all about Rudy Macklin and those teams, but look, nobody cares and that really doesn't matter today.
