Rumors were true. Both Dixon and Scarborough confirm. He was released from LOI.

Without another post player or Courtney improving to be a post guy, we'll just have to wait til year 2 or 3 to be competitive.
Of course, haven't seen most of this team play before, so who knows. We are finally longer at the 2 and 3, so maybe that helps.

The roster only has Ludwig, Courtney, and Tuba as the 6'7" or higher guys. Tuba is not an option. CCould we maybe squeeze time from Coleman at the 4?
We've played with small guys at the 4 before (Dupree, Warren come to mind).
We can still sneak in a transfer or two, I suppose.

coleman's juco coach said he could play the 4 in a pinch. we can porobably get a few minutes a game there from him. hope johnny o's conditioning is much improved.

They seemingly have no choice now (if there was a choice to begin with), they will almost assuredly have to go to a four guard line-up and hope that they can create enough offense to compete. (Think something similar to Cincinnati's line-up last year)

There were rumors going around about Memphis G Charles Carmouche and a post guy who remains unnamed transferring here... Hopefully it works out. Might be a long season.

Nothing confirmed, but there are still strong rumors of a couple of late enrolling transfers. It's getting late, however.
Memphis coach Josh Pastner said two weeks ago he expected Charles Carmouche to enroll at LSU.
He would give some guard depth and is a decent player, but would not help in the loss of Godfrey.
