4thQ is about to start and it seems like he has been in the game since the starters went out in the 1st quarter. 5 tackles and a sack so far

Aside from Devin White and Harold Perkins, it would be difficult to find a better LSU linebacker than Baskerville this past decade.

I noticed the cowboys depth chart has Jabril Cox and Damone Clark listed as starting linebackers

Beckwith is my brother in law. If he didn’t get injured, he’d still be a stalwart in the league.
Guy was a straight dog, same with Minter and Queen
I’m hoping our LBs this year continue to restore LSU as LBU.

Went to high school with him, just an awesome person on top of being a great athlete. Still bump into him from time to time and always have a good time catching up with him.

Always liked Baskerville. Thought he was a good LB. Hope he stays on the team and has a long NFL career.

Greg Penn is about the same. Both Penn and Baskerville have been underrated at LSU, however. We have just been loaded.

If we just looked at LBs at LSU from 2013-2022 (besides the 2 you mentioned), these guys are at least on par with Micah (and in a number of cases better):
Lamin Barrow
Duke Riley
K Beckwith
Kwon
Debo
Queen
Jacob Philips
Damone

Hate to break it to you, but playing basically the entire game of the 1st preseason game, pretty much means that the team and coaching staff sees a player as expendable.
So his best chance is to produce some decent tape and have another team pick him up bc it’s clear the Bears don’t value him.
