Do you think this game reflects 2015 season

or

Do you think CLM will allow BH to grow each outing ?

I think we need to be throwing 20-24 passes a game

around 200 to 240 yards of passing

just me

History tells us that this game will reflect the 2015 season. I hope not though.

If Harris stat line looks something like 16-24 for 200 yards each week (without multiple interceptions) then I think we will have a damn strong football season.

Does the first game of the season, on the road, against an SEC ranked opponent, with a "first year starter" (so to speak) under center reflect the entire season....no

No, he will make him do worse each outing. See AJ 2014.

You realize that's 10 ypa, right? That's an extremely high number.

If you say it loud enough maybe Miles and Cam will hear you and take your advice

Yes. We will see more passes as he improves. The pieces are in place for a Damn Fine Football Team.

200 - 240 yards

20 - 24 passes

around 10 yards per completion on average

look I am not checking off - this is what I want

I think deep down we all know the answer here. And most of us hope to be proven wrong.

It was his first game of the season. We have a stable of horses that could run over State. Of course he'll grow and give the corch more confidence. I like the fact that they didn't put him into too many situations where failure could ruin his future.

I think he'll ball against Awburn.
Chill.

It'll all the based on the situation. Up 14 or 15 on the road, I'd expect a Miles team to pull the same shite no matter who the qb is.

agreed. I think that's the sweet spot. We'll always be a run first team but tossing it 25 times per game at least makes the defense be aware that a pass could come at any point.

I agree - I am happy with what I saw out of BH

I agree with most a basic O has pass option

If they make that FG - Les would be on fire today

this is just a small fire

Miles history of calling the offense with anybody else except Mett behind center with ODB and Juice to throw it to.

just getting so so tired of these excuses.

I haven't done any research, but let's take Alabama as an example.

Jake Coker (yes, an old guy, but with virtually no meaningful experience) starts for Bama. They don't announce it until a couple days before the game.

So "first year starter," "on the road" (neutral site), "first game of the season," against a "ranked opponent" (no. 20 Wisconsin).

Oh dear, Saban actually let him (combined with the backup QB) throw 29 times. They ran 37 times.

Passing: 22-29, 264 yards.

Rushing: 37-238 yards. Very nice balance.

Bama won easily.

We can't do that?
