Based on likely final Top 10, did LSU have the toughest schedule in the country?

Bama, FSU, Missouri, Ole Miss. Although FSU might drop out of top 10 if they get blown out.

Not sure any other team had this tough of a schedule in 2023.

Thoughts?

Why would FSU drop out of the top 10 for losing a game with about 15 starters opting out?

There is a strength of schedule statistic that will give you this exact answer.

Plus, those 4 games were all on the road!

Losing 3 of those 4 games is not very impressive

No. It's only in the top 15. And strength of record is even lower I think. UW is top 1/2 in both stats.

Bama had Ole Miss, Georgia, LSU and Texas, and will still have to play Michigan and Washington/Texas again.

it's definitely top 5 at worst. Using strength of record is dumb. Anybody that played 4 top 10 teams in the regular season, on the road, had the toughest schedule.

now only use regular season, and see that NONE of them were on the road.

Bama always has extreme luck with scheduling. The three best teams you played by far, were at home.
