yea, the only reason he has so many innings stacked up is because he takes his midweek starts and proves himself to the coaching staff that he can pitch.. before long he may be in the weekend rotation, but for now... he's our midweek guy. It's not like we plucked out our Friday or Saturday Ace to throw at you guys... he's our midweek starter... and he's doing pretty damn good so far.

He started on Sunday Feb 22, 2009 in your game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big XII.

He also started against LSU, one of the best teams in country.

That is cool seeing an all-star true frosh go up against such a mighty team and do well. Congrats to him.

He's going to be a great one for ULL.

He started on a Sunday because it was a 4 week series.

As for innings pitched this season:
#1 - Zach Osborne (19.1)
#2 - the true frosh Fuselier (17.1) -- STARTED VS LSU TODAY
#3 - Mike Cook (15.1)
#4 - Greg Wilborn (15)
#5 - Wascom (13) -- PITCHED VS LSU TODAY
#6 - Haagen (11.1) -- PITCHED VS LSU TODAY
#7 - Wagley (8.2) -- PITCHED VS LSU TODAY

Those are all four of the pitchers that pitched for ULL against the LSU Tigers today

Haha what's your point? Ok so you say we have 4 main starters. Which would be 3 on the weekend and one on the midweek game, correct? Ok so we had three games this past weekend, one game this week, and three games this coming weekend. So yes, we threw one of our 4 main starters, the midweek true frosh. As for the three relievers we threw... what's wrong with that? You naturally bring in a pitcher who has been pitching well so far.

All this BS about it meaning more to us or not meaning much to LSU... is annoying. The truth is, yes it meant alot to win this game, but not because it was against LSU in general, it's because you guys are ranked 3rd in the nation! So it's a big win for our RPI, which helps us to get an at large bid into regionals down the road if we can accumulate multiple big RPI wins.

But as far as pitching goes... we did nothing out of the ordinary tonight, these four guys would have been pitching against anyone tonight, no matter the opponent.

That's because those are the only pitcher we will be pitching this year. Don't fault us

I'm not faulting ULL for putting four of their upper-tier pitchers against LSU, I would have done the same.

As for LSU, i thought it was classy how they put in some lower-tier pitchers against ULL, like Cain and Matthews. Its was Cain's first start in four years as a Tiger. Matthews is a freshman walk-on. You got 8 runs off those two guys.

We got the winning run off of one of the board favorites.

Yeah, that was pretty amazing. That guy for ULL that blasted it out of the park in the 9th, what do y'all think about him?

He's pretty much a fan favorite for us. He's a senior this year and has always been our power hitter. The homerun in the 3rd was hit a lot farther though.

I don't know if you've ever been to Tigue Moore Field (our home field) but if you have, then you would know how tall the pine trees are that tower over the outfield wall. Well Hawkins hit one over the trees last week... and he's been doing that for quite some time now.. he's 2nd all time home run leader for the Cajuns. He can flat out smash, as you saw tonight lol. Not to mention tonight the wind was blowing hard in from left when he hit that bomb.

They are what they are. When May rolls around, a top 4 finish in the SEC will get you a regional, top 2 will get you a Super Regional.

I'm pretty sure the team goals do not list as follows

Omaha
Mid-week game
Super Regional
Regional
Conference Championship

Quit being a bunch of pussies. Just congratulate ULL and move on. They won, we lost. Has nothing to do with a regional you assholes.
