Add in others that could leave… Bingham, Braswell, Pearson, Ackenhausen, Coleman, Hellmers, Ulloa, Kling, Dutton, Loer That’s a lot to replace

That is not nearly as bad as what we just lost. Again, we are going to lose a lot of players every offseason.

Year away? Actually this year is more likely than next year. It’s early season and sky is not falling.

I agree that they have plenty of time to improve this season.

sophomores and freshman aren't that impressive right now

I am just shocked that less experienced buys look worse than more experienced guys did last year...

I didn’t say it was. Just pointing out to the “next year is our year” guy that a lot of production will be lost. And most of the production lost is the only thing producing currently.

Considering we lost a lot of coaches and our #1 and #2 weekend starters along with the Number 2 overall pick in the draft, I would say to take a chill pill and give CJJ some time

I am going to enjoy LSU baseball and not worry about the ramblings of random posters wanting the sky to fall.

Exactly! A huge amount of the people on here gave up on last year's team. Obviously very smart people.

This team will be in the hunt. It probably won’t win a title this season, but I wholeheartedly believe we’ll make it to Omaha. JJ’s PROCESS works!

Yea for some reason an elite baseball program like LSU can’t just reload like some other teams do every year and contend. It’s like our football program, we have one great year then have to endure 5-6 average to bad years just to build back up to having a great year potentially again. Don’t know how some programs can do it on a yearly basis.

There's nothing about this team (right now) that should make anyone think they are a year away from a championship.

The pitching will prove out to be better overall. The defense will also improve throughout the season. Our hitters will learn to work the opposing pitchers deeper into counts and will be formidable. JJ has a plan, and these guys will develop. I believe this team will win a super regional and be in Omaha.
