All 3 weekend starters are gone (though Hurd's time there could be limited), plus White, Travinski, Jones...
That's a lot of huge holes to fill. Dont know how you can say we're "a year away" knowing what we have to replace. Jay is going to have to murder the portal this offseason (which he can do, but again, losing a ton).
Dont worry though, Kling has played poorly enough he probably wont be lost to the draft

Add in others that could leave… Bingham, Braswell, Pearson, Ackenhausen, Coleman, Hellmers, Ulloa, Kling, Dutton, Loer

So, depending on the draft and the portal, the baseball program could be 2-3 seasons away from being a true contender in Omaha.

I agree. All this team needs is some skinned knees and experience. I think people's expectations are too high for a team this young.

JJ had better hit the portal hard. The sophomores and freshman aren't that impressive right now.

Yep. Because if there is one thing we know with absolute certainty, it’s that young players NEVER improve with time and experience
