Adams: go big or go home. I like it.

Adams hitting .429 surprised me. I remembered the 6K's more than the 9H's.

Hopefully that is an indication of quality pitching, but the sample size is low.

True, the number of AB's is small but, pitching is always ahead of batting in the first part of spring. Fall stats are a more extensive sampling of batters success or failure. We'll have to see what plays out throughout the regular season against the opposition.

Do we have enough players left to field a team vs air force?

I've heard Strall will be starting in the middle infield and Breaux is our new closer.

He's no Nate Fury.

I see this as a good thing.

Hopefully it is for a short time that we will be missing 50% of our home runs.

Actually, other teams are hitting a good bit more home runs than LSU. Mainieri has gone with the runt strategy of building his team since that is the type of player he was. Coastal Carolina hit 96 home runs last year. LSU hit 46.

We're going to hit a lot more over the fence this year. Especially once Diechman and Romero are both completely back. And Coomes and Slaughter are deep threats as well.
