An up vote for you sir!!!!

So I'm assuming pitching is way ahead of our hitters so far!!!

Ready to start seeing the bats come alive!!!

I was going to ask how Jordan did at SS then I kept reading. Outside of that, how was he? Is that the only place he played? I guess for him it's DH or bench, if that's the only place he played in the scrimmage.

I thought Peterson pitched in the mid 90s. Bio says he hit 96 in HS.

Its been pretty chilly at the Box so far this spring and a bit windy. Not weather conducive to a lot of offense. The Tigers have a total of 10 hits in the 15 innings played this spring including only two doubles. I think as the weather warms, so will the bats.

Peterson touched the low 90's last fall, but he consistently throws high 80's.

Bryce has played exclusively at SS in all three scrimmages this spring. I think he will be primarily the DH this year with utility duty when needed.

Thanks again for the reports. Seems like the scrimmages are repeating themselves with not much hitting. I too thought the cool weather might be a factor.

It's January. No fastballs are going to be very electric yet and hitters are seeing live pitching for the first time in 2 months.

As far as the Jordan's there both dead fast ball hitters, any off speed or curve in the dirt there pretty much history. I hope another year is improvement for both because they give everything they have on the field. I'm thinking Templet may turn out to be a more consistent hitter.

We had been talking about doing a group cheer when the first run was scored but, it just didn't meet our expectations, consequently no cheer was heard at the Box today.

You've obviously never watched them play. They come from a top notch high school, have played top notch competition since grade school, and both have very high baseball IQ's. LSU very lucky to have them both.

But if you throw a breaking pitch in the dirt they are going to swing at it. The other team could tell them that they're throwing a curveball in the dirt and they'll still swing at it. Love the Jordan twins and they are good baseball players but they need to learn to lay off on that pitch because they always swing at it
