Too windy. A pop up in the infield would have went an extra 120 feet into the outfield. recorded a 53 mph wind gust this morning here at MSY. I just recorded a 35 mph gust in Kenner.

I had a great feeling it would have been fine myself..

We were suppose to get all this incredible rain, yet almost nothing as we head into Thursday...

Could tell by last night it wasn't really happening for us.. It went elsewhere..

My son had a baseball game, a separate baseball practice, and is now heading to a soccer game.

Why cancel so early?

Cut ole Pat some slack. He's focused on that Saturday morning parade forecast.

BR is fine but Lake Charles is in a mess right now. Don't know if McNeese could have made it back

it was stupid to cancel the game tonight. the national weather service future forecast showed exactly what is happening tonight in regard to rain. Nothing.

In all fairness, that massive storm barely missed us. West, Central, and North Louisiana got hammered by it.

Actually bailed on the soccer game so he could study for a science test.

All's good. But the soccer game was played.

We're still getting it in Houston tonight so that's going to make it worse in parts of LA and BR isn't out of the woods yet.

That's even worse dad, teaching your son commitments mean nothing?
