Baseball series this weekend and next is key to hosting

We absolutely need to come out this weekend and next 2-1 at worst each weekend to really have any shot to host. That means taking at least 1 game against UF too (at home, so better chances).
The big thing right now is cheering for MSU, OM and Vandy to lose games. They are squarely in front of us right now to host (aTm, USCe and UF are locks to host). We lost series to MSU and OM, so really Vandy would be the easiest spot to take for us. They are playing aTm this weekend and already started off the series with a loss (good news for us). Vandy plays UF next weekend so that's the spot it looks like we could really take a host site from, if we can finish this season out on a high note.

What the LSU baseball team really needs to do is focus on playing solid baseball this last stretch before SEC tournament. Hosting is irrelevant at this point because if they don't start playing better all around in each phase, they won't make it out of a regional at home either!

Just sit back relax and enjoy each game for what it is. Enjoy a great series on a perfect weekend for baseball.

No, I was implying that just about every poster on here stresses over anything remotely related to LSU and thinks that they can affect the outcome of games. There are several posters that actually get upset if you start talking about games that will take place in the following weeks bc "you aren't focused on the next play/game."

Hosting is a big deal but if we don't I don't mind going to the southern miss regional. We could win that one. (d1 baseball latest prediction)
