On the RPI update front:
LSU opponent San Diego begins their season a day early due to weather concerns in California. They face of tonight against Vanderbilt, who is not on LSU's SEC schedule this year, but is obviously a potential SECT opponent.

Just based on returning pitching, there could be some value in Kentucky.
Not saying I think they're going to win the CWS, but that I think they're closer to Ole Miss' odds than Auburn's odds.

Been busy so hadn't been on here a lot. Great read as always. So just based on your MLB 2017 potential, I am excited to see Hunter Kiel. Outside of a 3rd starter and perhaps a 4th, I would like to see a set up guy established. So perhaps a Mariano Rivera guy when he was a set up guy in 96 for the Yankees. I think if Kiel can be that guy, Newman can come in and close it out. Plus if either can go 2 innings if needed, that would go a long way. I think both Lange and Poche are good for 7 innings most of the time. I am really excited for this team. I didn't see 2013 coming. Not saying this team will be like that as far as SEC dominance but I expect this team to make it to Omaha and possibly make it to the finals. If so, I will be there. My first and only trip to Omaha was in 09. Decided after my Mom passed away in 08 to start making more trips for LSU baseball and football. Great reading again and thanks for taking the time to do this every year.
