It is unreal the difficulty LSU has had bringing in quality dominant pitching.

It seems we generally have one quality pitcher. Renaudo/Gausman/Nola. Our number two pitcher is generally inconsistent at best and 3 is usually a patchwork of people. This has really hurt us in the post season.

How do other schools have the luxury of two very good starting pitchers and a young serviceable third guy and a good closer consistently and LSU can't recruit and retain pitching.

Quality and Depth at pitcher has been out Achilles heal in the post season.

PM should have played to win game 1 with our best on the mound. He should not have tried to outsmart the system and assumed he could beat TCU with our 2. Life is much easier in the winners bracket.

Can you name these schools? Just curious to see how many teams you think have better starting rotations than LSU

I had no idea our Achilles was broken.

Great. Another guy who is so much smarter than the coach on Monday morning. Just what we needed.

Your post sucks, btw.

We usually have had two good pitchers. When Gausman was here we had a young Nola. When Gausman was young we had Renaudo. Keep in mind that if we kept our pitching, Poche would probably have been a weekday guy. Marshall was supposed to be here and left and then Latz got hurt. Those are two quality guys with Lange. I don't think the talent is the issue, it is knowing when to have a feel of the game and when to pull a guy. That has been the biggest issue all year and going back for a while now. Dunn needs to take some of the blame here.

I guess. I was thinking that there might have been a pitcher whose name was similar to Tabasco...and his phone/computer auto-corrected the name to "Tabasco", but I can't think of any such pitcher.

I think it's Renaudo. Close on the keyboard I think.
